According to the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran dated 12/16/2023, from the date 02/04/2024 citizens of the following countries who hold ordinary passports and intend to travel to Iran only for tourism purposes and for a maximum stay of 15 days (not extendable), can enter the country without a visa in each 6 months periods.

• Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Qatar
• Kuwait
• Republic of Uzbekistan
• Kyrgyz Republic
• Republic of Tunisia
• Islamic Republic of Mauritania
• Republic of Tanzania
• Republic of Zimbabwe
• Republic of Mauritius
• Republic of Seychelles
• Republic of Indonesia
• Brunei Darussalam
• Japan
• Singapore
• Cambodia
• Socialist Republic of Vietnam
• Federative Republic of Brazil
• Republic of Peru
• Republic of Cuba
• Mexico
• Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Republic of Serbia
• Republic of Croatia
• Republic of Belarus
• Republic of India

It is emphasized that the 15-day period of stay cannot be extended, and this decision for Indian citizens only includes those Indian citizens who enter the country only through air borders.
